Welcome and Thank You

Happy Monday!

I'd like to WELCOME my new readers and say,

"Thank You"

to everyone who's been reading along since the beginning! I've been doing this blog for a little over a year now and it's been a work-in-progress for sure! So I'm very thankful to everyone who reads and comments. Especially the comments! Yes, I'm needy, ha ha.

I think things are going to change - once again - here in my little space. I've tried structured posts, but that just doesn't seem like me. And it puts a lot of stress on me to try and think of 'topics'. This is supposed to be fun, right? So, I'm going to go back to a more free form approach - more like a journal of my thoughts and everyday happenings. Still seeking JOY though. That is the constant.

I've been going through my Sabrina Ward Harrison books, starting with 'Spilling Open'. It's basically her journal(s) from when she was 21. It makes me reminisce that age. Although my life was completely different from hers - I was married and joined the Air Force. I joined the AF because I was lost and didn't know what to do with my life. I wish I would have picked up an art journal instead - I think I could have worked out things better.

But, no worries about that - I'm thankful for ALL my life experiences. They've made me who I am today. And, I'm becoming more and more "myself" everyday. I'm starting to learn that the journey is never ending. [A good thing] I want to keep seeking, searching, and learning.

So, to all my readers - as usual - I wish for you:

Peace, Love, and Chocolate

  2. I just love this post, and the mention that all of your life experiences have made you who you are today. That is exactly how I look at life . . . The good, the bad, all of it. And this art piece is really just so beautiful. Lovely work, my dear. Just lovely!
